课程描述：

该课程是针对全校本科生开设的通识教育课，以专题性讲授方式，全方位探讨我国社会分层与流动的现实状况、未来走向及面临的主要挑战。近几十年我国经济社会发生剧烈变迁，引发社会分层与流动领域一系列重大变化，导致了一些社会问题和矛盾。本课程将对我国社会分层与流动的现实状况、未来走向和面临的主要挑战做全方位探讨，同时，针对当前社会公众关注的热点议题，如：是否存在阶层固化、社会流动渠道是否狭窄、寒门子弟是否难成贵子、是否出现教育内卷化现象等问题，进行专题讨论。另外，对于社会分层与流动领域的最新变化趋势和最突出社会问题进行深入分析讲解。最终，本课程还将系统介绍我国政府实施的“精准扶贫”和‘脱贫攻坚’战略以及“调节收入分配”、“壮大中等收入群体”、“实现全体人民共同富裕”等政策方针，在抑制贫富差距、促进社会公平、建构橄榄型社会结构等方面取得的成效和存在的不足。教学目标是让学生通过课堂学习和研讨，从社会分层这一视角理解当代中国社会变迁和发展，提升学生对当代中国国情的了解，掌握社会变迁趋势，开阔社会视野，提升理论水平。

该课程以期中作业和期末开卷考试作为结课考核成绩，期中作业占总成绩30%；期末开卷考试占总成绩70%。

Description

This course is a basic liberal education course for undergraduates in the University. It comprehensively discusses the current situation, future trend and main challenges of social stratification and mobility in China. In recent decades, dramatic social-economic changes have taken place in China, triggering a series of major changes in the field of social stratification and mobility, resulting in some social problems and contradictions. This course will make an all-round discussion on the current situation, future trend and main challenges of social stratification and mobility in China. At the same time, it will conduct a thematic discussion on the current hot topics of public concern, such as educational inequality, income gap, wealth polarization, barriers to social mobility. In addition, the latest trends and the most prominent social problems in the field of social stratification and mobility were analyzed and explained in depth. Finally, this course will also systematically introduce the "targeted poverty alleviation" and "poverty alleviation" strategies implemented by the Chinese government, as well as the policies and guidelines such as "adjusting income distribution", "expanding middle-income groups" and "achieving common prosperity for all people", which have achieved results and shortcomings in curbing the gap between the rich and the poor, promoting social equity, and building an olive shaped social structure. The objective of the course is to enable students to understand the social changes and development of contemporary China from the perspective of social stratification through classroom learning and discussion, improve students' understanding of contemporary Chinese society, comprehend the trend of social changes, broaden social vision and improve theoretical level.
